Software recognizes the need to protect the information gathered from
our customers, potential customers and visitors.
For
this reason, we have implemented a Customer Privacy Policy. Under our
policy, Personally Identifiable Information - e-mail addresses,
employment status, and "click stream" data, which track how a
person uses an online service - compiled from users to our site will be
carefully stored to ensure a safe Internet environment.
Users electing to search
the online product documentation or the customer
support center are required to supply personal and professional
information as part of the registration process.
Scientific Software's
policy is that it will not sell personal and/or professional information
to third parties. However, it may share some aggregate (i.e. total
visitors to the site), not personal, information with its customers,
professional, and marketing organizations, which in SSI's judgment, have
a legitimate need for such data, and which are committed to the
preservation of online user privacy.
SSI will remove any
registrant information volunteered by users, including full name and
user name, from its database upon request from the registrant to info@scisw.com.
